Veneers are an excellent way to address discolored or unsightly teeth, close gaps between front teeth, and repair chips and cracks, giving you a flawless smile.
Porcelain Veneers:
Porcelain veneers are thin layers of porcelain custom-designed to fit over the front of your teeth. They are carefully crafted to match the shape, size, and color of your natural teeth, blending seamlessly for a completely natural appearance.
Composite Veneers
Composite veneers function similarly to porcelain veneers but require minimal or no tooth reduction (filing). The procedure is typically completed in a single visit, making it a quicker option. We use premium materials, including IPS Empress Direct® Composite and Component®, and collaborate with top laboratories to ensure the color, appearance, and translucency perfectly match your natural teeth, helping you achieve a smile you can be confident in. Nowadays zirconia and E-max veneers also available in Bangladesh. This veneers are also made your smile more natural and beautiful.
A thin shell made of zirconium dioxide (zirconia) placed on the front surface of teeth to improve shape, color, or alignment. Similar to porcelain veneers, but stronger.
Advantages:
Extremely strong and durable. Resistant to chipping and cracking. Biocompatible (safe for gums). Good for patients who grind teeth. Stain-resistant.
Disadvantages:
Less translucent than porcelain may look less natural for front teeth. More tooth reduction may be needed compared to porcelain veneers. Harder to adjust once placed. Higher cost.
An Emax veneer is a thin shell made of lithium disilicate ceramic that is placed on the front surface of teeth to improve their shape, color, or alignment. It is well known for its lifelike translucency and natural brightness, making it one of the most aesthetic veneer options available.
Advantages:
The main advantages of Emax veneers are their superior aesthetics and ability to closely mimic natural teeth. They require minimal tooth reduction compared to zirconia or porcelain veneers, which helps preserve more of the original tooth structure. Emax is also biocompatible, safe for the gums, and resistant to stains or discoloration, ensuring a long-lasting and natural-looking smile.
Disadvantages:
They are not as strong as zirconia and may not be the ideal choice for patients who grind or clench their teeth heavily. Under extreme pressure, they can fracture, and repairs can be challenging if damage occurs. Additionally, the cost of Emax veneers is typically higher than that of traditional porcelain veneers, which can make them less accessible for some patients.
